The Bezuidenhout Family
Trust, Loyalty and Love is our Legacy
The Bezuidenhout family -
a living tribute to South Africa's agricultural heritage and enduring legacy.
The Bezuidenhout name traces its origins to the Netherlands, derived from the Dutch words "zuid " (south) and "hout " (forest), referring to a region south of the Hague forest. The family established deep roots in South Africa during the colonial era, with records dating back to the 18th century. Over generations, they became known for their contributions to farming, community development, and mechanical innovation.
The BEZUIDENHOUT Tractor Museum showcases a remarkable collection of antique John Deere 2-cylinder tractors, each lovingly restored and preserved.
But this is more than just a museum – it’s a family story rooted in passion, perseverance, and pride.
